He For She – Thank You, Mr. Michael Banks

In late March, Mr. Michael Banks implemented his own product drive on behalf of Helping Women Period, complete with educational videos and a primer on the taxation issue surrounding these products.  Most impressively, he issued the call, “I’d love to see all men contribute to this effort.  I need all men to step up and help out.  Let’s reduce the stigma and recognize women’s bodies for the amazing miracle they are...”

Oh, Mr. Banks.

His efforts resulted in the collection of 1112 tampons and 1246 pads – enough to supply 125 periods. Menstrual equity is absolutely an issue relevant to both men and women.  Mr. Michael Banks is a stellar example of a man embracing the movement and taking action.  We thank him so much.
